Atton Institute: KHDA Certification
The KHDA (Knowledge and Human Development Authority) is the main regulatory government entity in the UAE which is in charge of administering, approving, supervising and controlling the activities of various education providers in the UAE, including Business Schools, Institutes, Academies, Universities, and other qualified professional educators in the country. The regulatory framework of KHDA consists of two main elements: 1) the operational and overall qualification requirements of education providers and 2) control over particular degrees, courses, trainings and programs offered by such providers. With this approval authority and further control, the authority makes sure that the required standards and codes are being followed.
KHDA sets clear requirements for each professional education provider in terms of type of education offered and format of such education - live, online, group live, etc. It also sets a number of other important criteria to be fulfilled, including the professional background of shareholders and the managing body, the mission and standards of the education provider and other factors.
The clear and secure regulatory framework for all types of education in the UAE imposed by the KHDA authority oversees the qualitative and professional educational landscape across Dubai and secures the interests of students and the general public.
